Trusted Mod

I'd like to beomce a trusted mod. I make fair pairs, do not insult any players, and am not slow (when I can help it). My next tourney is the Elite Tourney today. All admins are welcome to see if I am worthy of doing this.

In order to become a trusted Mod you also need to know how to post a proper news post.

I have seen a few posts from you lately where you forget to write in the DATE and TIME of the tourney you are going to host.

Yes the date is displayed in the calendar but it must also be written in the post so that people only visiting the first portal page can see it easily.

You will also have to show that you can report the tourneys properly with the new systems so that admins doesn't need to go and edit it.

Also don't write in the comments like "Tourney Cancelled", "Tourney Moved" etc.

Edit your first post (which is displayed in the news). And write there if the tourney is cancelled, moved etc... Don't forget to write the new DATE and TIME of your tourney.

This as well as being a fair moderator is just as importent.

I have seen you do annoying things before like. Accepting players to join your tourney. Then there is to many people and you start to kick random people who waited for half an hour...

Anyone can do a mistake but then kick the one who joined last and not someone who waited for long time.

I have also seen you write "Pm me to signup" and then people start o PM you. And then you get mad and write "STOP FUCKING PM ME". That is like "uhm...?".

Showing a nice attitude to players who participate is very importent.


You will be given change to show that you can make all this better. It may take 1 tourney, it may take 5. It all depends how well you manage to do it.

Since you trashed the results last tourney Shirdel. You will now have to host more then 1 tourney where you must show that you can do all this perfectly in order to become trusted mod.

Well. there is a few things i like to improve. shirdel dosent plan that good for tourney.s. in the Holy War tourney he didnt have any clear scheme to use(it was fixed last sec case i asked him which scheme and described a propper1) he didnt announce at all. But i knew about iut allready . so i had to announce that way getting 2 or plus more in. in his canncelled multischeme tourney i didnt se any announcement etheir. i found it in RH by luck(nothing to do so i checked channels for tourneys)

My advice woudl be to make sure every1 knows rules and schemes. allso try announcing youre self 30 mins be4 it starts.

Lier. I'm against spamming. Anyways, there's a way to get proof. Go to C:\Team17\User\Logs, scan through and copy some proof onto here.

the only logs i see are for game lobbys, i dont think u can get them from ag unless im looking in the wrong spot (which im pretty sure im not) anyways im not gonna waste anymore time proving your a moron, youve done it yourself already

Shirdel admits he's made some mistakes, no need to be so mean to him he's only 10. Most people at this age do make mistakes..
Shirdel, you should read and reread your tournament threads and results before posting them to be sure you've not made mistakes. I'm sure if you ask, for example since he's another tournament mod, Darkone whether he posts without reading what he's typed, the answer will be of course not. It is very admirable that you take time out of your life to host the tournaments and I don't think you're getting the appreciation you deserve and could get with just a little more attention to detail.
A thought I had was that a trusted mod could co-mod a tournament with you Shirdel. This way if you had questions you weren't sure about you could ask and learn. Then after this you'll be able to start a new thread asking to be a trusted mod again.

I'll just go ahead and affirm what root said: I always double check my results page.
Of course I also made mistakes when hosting tourneys (even long after I turned 10 ), but I learned from them. The first few tourneys I hosted had a huge turnout, so I quickly learned to ask others to help me out with announcing and helping to answer questions of people in the channel.

I can really suggest reading that thread, Shirdel. I had to find out all these things on my own, you won't have to.
And don't get discouraged either. I recall the first RRkit tourney that was hosted by TonY. He not only let someone back in the tourney after losing (he later even won the tourney after beating the person that beat him earlier on! so unfair!), he also lost the full results of the tourney up until the semifinals.

I did check my tourney results before I posted them so that I didn't miss anything but I didn't double check it.
